Twenty years from now you will be more
disappointed by the things you didn’t do than by the ones you did. So throw off
the bowlines, sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in you

Our Trivia team came in first today for the first time in
several days! We had17 out of 20 answers correct, but so did another team. The
moderator had to ask 3 tie-breaking questions because we all gave the same
answers for the first two.
What was the winning question, I hear you ask?
When
was Viagra approved for sale in the US? (Answer: 1998. We nailed it exactly,
but no one would fess up to why we knew that answer!)
Me, the DH, Mary, Brian, Kristy & Dave holding our balls--stress balls, that is. They were our prize! |
This afternoon, I went for a free mini-facial at the
Lotus Spa. It was wonderful! Afterward, my face felt soft as a baby’s behind.
Of course, my esthetician recommended I purchase a set of products for around
my eyes—a mask to be used a couple of times a week and a moisturizer for every
day. I’ve never found eye products that didn’t give me an allergic reaction,
but this stuff was great. It’s a bit spendy, but the DH said I should go back
and get it.
See why I love that man?
Tonight was another formal night. Here are a few pics of
us and our friends glamming it up!
This is Vicky and Craig. His tie caused him a lot of grief tonight. It features the original Three Stooges (Curly is hiding behind his buttoned jacket.) He couldn't find any member of the crew who knew who they were.
But several of them asked if the image of Curly was him!
Meet Cathy and Vaughan--our favorite Aussies!
We've decided that next formal night we're having a girl party to put up our hair and do our makeup together. Cathy's our ringer. She's a hairdresser, so we'll all look great!
This is Shirley and Dave (being photo-bombed by our delightful waiter, Kadek who showed us pictures of his 2 kids and lovely wife this evening. He'll get to see them again in August!)
Kristy has given Shirley a new nickname--Peanut! It totally suits her.
Also, I learned tonight that when she and Dave first met, he was an Arthur Murray Dance instructor!
That's all for now. I'm running out of internet minutes!
PS. My step count for today was 5991!
This was so funny to read, we really did enjoy it. It was so nice to meet all of your friends! You & Brian look soooo great & happy. It is so good to see you enjoying yourselves! Enjoy & we love you
ReplyDeleteWish you were here too. You'd love it, Mom.
